Synopsis

Based on Dame Joy Cowley’s beloved novel, HOLY DAYS takes place in rural New Zealand during the mid-1970s, a period marked by social change and shifting traditions. After losing his mother, young Brian finds comfort and friendship with three quirky nuns at a run-down convent. Together, they set out on a spirited journey to the Southern Alps, where Brian hopes to see his mother again on the sacred mountain, Aoraki. Along the way, they learn about faith, friendship, and the power of love and connection to transform lives.
