Adventure / Fantasy

At the end of part one, the Fellowship was forced to divide. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers traces the journey of Frodo (Elijah Wood) and Sam (Sean Astin) as they venture deeper into the land of the enemy – with the mysterious Gollum (Andy Serkis) serving as their guide – while their companions in the Fellowship, Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), Legolas (Orlando Bloom) and Gimli (John-Rhys Davies), struggle to rescue the captured Hobbits Merry (Dominic Monaghan) and Pippin (Billy Boyd). Their destinies now lie at Two Towers – Orthanc Tower in Isengard, where the corrupted wizard Saruman (Christopher Lee) waits, and Sauron’s fortress at Barad-dur, deep within the dark lands of Mordor.
